    He is so right.
(I know it is an older video but it needs to be repeated over and over)

Often I will find the same thing. Most of the time they hang in the LL like an idiot. Sometimes I can't shake them. I will slow to an obnoxiously slow speed and so will they then I speed up and... so do they. Often they will hang in my drivers side mirror blocking the view of a bogie from the back.

Sometimes I will try to get them trapped in some traffic but that is hard to do out here. Once I had a Mercedes with TX plates that would do any speed I would do so finally I pulled off at the Rest Area and he didn't.

    Guess what?

I caught up to him a few minutes after leaving the Rest Area only to have start the same stuff all over again for the next 100 miles.

Looks to be the Cheetah Mirror, which displays your speed.

I don't mind people following me, I enjoy when others who don't have detectors follow me for awhile. Sooner or later they will get a speeding ticket in my eyes. I used to follow people all the time back when I didn't use one all the time. I think it's funny with a line of cars bookin it past everyone in the left lane.

No offense but other than the fact that the tail is too cheap or can't afford a radar detector, why do you care if he tails you? I could understand it if you were concerned due to safety reasons. Just curious as to why people react they way they do.

I for one, hate it when, at a sporting event, I have purchased very good (expensive) seats, only to have someone whose ticket is in the nosebleed section, sneak down and sit in an empty good seat. Then, typically, the good seat owner arrives and the nosebleed guy feigns surprise that they are in the wrong seat. Bugs the he!! out of me.

Why should I care if the nosebleed guy tries to cheat a seat? Certainly not for safety reasons....

As I get older, you would think I would mellow out more. NOT HAPPENING.

Gotta add to the sentiment that it doesn't really bother me. One of the first things I learned from this site is how to use a rabbit to counter I/O. Is it not then hypocritical of us to be upset when someone uses us as a rabbit because our level of acceptable risk while speeding alone is higher than theirs is? Would it be less offensive if the follower had a detector?

My V1 runs completely dark because of the concealed display and is hard to see outside the car, but I still seem to pick up a good number of people riding my coattail. I think they notice my CB antenna and that I drive like I know where all the traps are. I consider it a public service if I can escort someone through an area they're not familiar with.

I don't care if he follows, if he does it correctly. A lot of these idiots want to follow along in your blind spots, or not leave enough room that I can safely merge back into the left lane without accelerating.

Get 8-10 car lengths back, merge to the right lane when your pass is completed and be nice about it.

I don't have a problem with people following too closely because they can't seem to catch up to me for some reason. I don't like people following too closely either so I just hit triple digits for a few until they lose hope and then I can settle into my cruising speed of 15-20 over. I do like when I see cars hauling behind me at a distance because then I know the backdoor is safe because they would get pulled over if it wasn't.

Yep, I don't have this problem. Almost no one is willing to run with me for any significant length of time.
