Taking a trip from Chicago to Niagra Falls and then to New York

What should I be worried about, what bands do the use, and it my RD save from RDDS

-Everything K,Ka,Laser (especially laser as its spring and you don't say you have a jammer: SOL)... to a lesser extent: X-band.

Bands... (see above) everything.... also check out the bands by local section of the forum.

I have no clue what a RDDS is... I am assuming it is an RDD? Radar-Detector-Detector: The V1 will set-this off like crazy (Are you going into Canada?)

No I am not going into canada. just from chicago to Niagra Falls and then from their new york

do not use ur v1 in canada....they have spectres there...for ny state watch out lidar and 34.7 Ka...i/o and the ny troopers have DARK blue crown vics and tahoes which are hard to see...

yes definitely turn on X band. I was I/Oed with X band in OH two weeks ago.

you may want to pick up a CB for the drive. will help greatly on your trip.

NY will be mostly ka band, with some laser shot from the U turns. CB is very helpful. No airplanes.
