I would have bought my LI from you if you carried them. Too bad V1 doesn't have deales.
What about in-cab video cameras, FLIR (infared and thermal imaging cameras)? That's getting pretty specialized, though, considering how few people use them, and that prices start at $2500 and then they start to get expensive...like $10K.

CB radios and antennas would be a very good addition to your product line, since they are a very, very useful countermeasure, and very affordable. Scanners are another possibility.

I've often wondered why Radar Busters doesn't have a banner ad on this forum, or at least something more than just "Visit RadarBusters for all your Speed Countermeasure Equipment RadarBusters.com" on the sidebar.

I sympathize with you being "forced" to sell Cobras because that's what people want. I've been in the same position. Rather than lose the sales to my competitiors, I sold the products, but made sure the customer really, truly and completely understood why it was not the best choice for them. Then, after they bought it and realized why I'd been trying to steer them in a different direction, I'd work with them to upgrade to what they really needed, but for me that was easy because we manufactured the products and it was easy to swap a few internal parts to change the product into something better.

1. Plug the site more heavily on the forums. You guys sponsor the forums, you should have a big ol' banner on top, not just the one in the corner!

2. Maybe a search bar on the main site? Say someone came to RB from this forum because they were very specifically interested in the Redline after what we told them. It'd be cool if they could go to the main RadarBusters site, type "Redline" in a product search bar, and have all products with the name "Redline" in them appear.

I agree with the rating system comment. Each brand should be rated in order price vs. performance. This would make it easier for newcomers to navigate and make a better decision.

these are all awesome suggestions, and I really hope we are able meet them all, but sadly I don't think we will be able to get the LI which is something I have been wanting as well. The CBs also is a really big thing I have been pushing for, but don't know how that is going at this time.
Please keep the suggestions coming, we really do appreciate all the feedback, and if there is a suggestion that you may have but don't want to post it on the forum just send me a PM.

Ok, so I see you took my suggestion about categorizing the 9500ci, Qi45, etc in its own category (concealed RD). Good!

I'd tweak one small thing on the front page. Under the "Shop Radar Detectors By Brand", I would change the order up. I'd go (from left to right) Escort, Beltronics, Whistler, and finally Cobra. Put the worst RD brand last instead of second
