    Default Window Sticker vs. Radar

If I was to mount my RD behind a window sticker (2003 Pennsylvania inspection sticker if anyone cares) will I reduce my radar detection noticeably? It seems to be a plastic/paper mélange.

Reason I ask is I need to drive a certain car with no good RD hiding spots save this one which has the sticker, and the sticker may even help matters.

Lidar I couldn't give a rat's ass about but will the radar suffer too much? (ps I won't be doing any 220km/h stints in this auto...)

Why not go to a supermarket, stick the detector in a good spot in the windsheild, wait until the detector only gives you one bar, and then move the detector behind the sticker and see what happens?

I second that. I've spent more time in a supermarket parking lot playing with my detector than I care to admit to.

As long as you're in PA, it doesn't matter where you put it, but if in the 54th state, why not on a visor? Like you said, you won't be running Indie speeds....

That's really funny, because I'm afraid that if I get a detector I will be the car in parking lot.

If you don't get a RD, you'll be the one on the side of the road answering a few questions like

"Sir, do you know why I stopped you?"

I should definitely spend a few nights wandering around and adding zeros to all the speed limit signs in my area.
