Ah spoofing! Must be like those dozens of "Please Review Your Account Information" from "PayPal" I get. I always click the link and fill out the information boxes with nasty words

Many viruses will spoof the sender address.

Most likely, this was not a deliberate attack. Instead, someone out there has both "the horn13's" and Roy's address on their computer, and got infected with a virus, and it harvested the addresses, generated emails including one "from" Roy and "to" "the horn13" and sent itself out.

I got some emails the other day from here letting me know there was a reply to my topic. To make a long story short when I clicked on it, it just kept putting up window after window. There was no stopping it. I had to shut my computer down a couple of different times over the ordeal. I didn't say anything or post anything about it because I thought it was just my pc acting up. If I remember correctly the post's were coming from "carlito".

    What was happening to you?

Well, perhapps a time for the AVG link.

    http://free.grisoft.com/doc/Get+AVG+FREE/lng/us/tpl/v5

That's a excelent FREE anti-virus software. I've found it to be far more reliable than Norton or MacAfee.

Also, if you already have an antivirus installed but just want a second opinion without installing new software, swing over to Panda Activescan

    http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/ActiveScan.htm

That one only works from IE, no Firefox.

If you currently have no anti-virus protection, or yours is out of date, please run at least one of those. Let's get these virus e-mails stopped!
