Default Rx 65 vs pro 78se

What's a better detector for ka and k bands for both city and highway driving. I have owned a vector before and I liked it alot but then I got a 8500 x50 and it needed service so I'm gonna get a new detector. Please help me on the picking then right detector for me

I think I would just get the X50 serviced. For 80 bucks it will be like new.

RX65 should be slightly better then x50,since RX65 has Ka USA mode

Yeah thats what i thought about the Rx 65. The only reason why i was thinking about 78se was because i saw Veilguy's videos on them being very close to the remote units, like extremely close. But the i saw something on this forum about him not being honest with his tests with the whistlers. so i dont know what to believe haha

It is not that he is not honest but the following:

    1) He tests multiple units simultaneously which causes interference. I like his videos but I use them for entertainment purposes

    2) He receives his units directly from manufactures so they are not BLIND RETAIL purchases

He puts in MANY miles when he tests with his own gas money and time but if you were a manufacturer and knew this, what would you send him for testing?

Don't forget his remotes are mounted behind his bumper/grille.
