Laser False Alerts
I was just on a weekend trip to St. Louis and while I was in southern Illinois I had 3 false alerts on Laser. I can hardly remember a false alert on Laser. There were on LEO's near me and I was on the open highway. I was on 55 south about 100 miles north of St. Louis. Has anyone else encountered this?

My Motorola Razr V3 always triggers Laser alert on my RX65, kinda annoying...
Could of been one of the higher end SUV's with the laser activated cruise control systems.
I got a solid 8 second laser false today....very weird
Has anyone ever had a laser false on their Blinder, but not their detector (X50 in my case)? The few times I've gotten falsed, it was the X50 - the Blinder was silent.
But early this morning on the highway, my Blinder went off (no cop in sight) while the X50 just sat there. This is new to me. Is there anything that might false a Blinder?
Thats strange as a mobile doesn't omit light. My Bel 990 or my old Cobra never falsed on laser. I did find that a infra red remote control set off old Cobra if pointed towards it!!Originally Posted by go.mouse

I could very well have been using my cell phone....now I remember another trip to Mackinac Island where my RD kept going off when my cell phone would ring.
That was probably my issue......
Must be the infrared port on my Moto V3. I remember turning the outside LCD away from the RX65 it would stop falsing.
