    Default Radar in back

I'm not sure if this would even work....but I have 3 radar detectors and I have my Whistler 1773 mounted right below my rear view mirror. I was wondering if I could place my Whistler SRT30R in my back window for I guess you can call it "a rear detector"? I don't really know but would this even be worth a shot to try out?

I did that once! Before I joined this site. I had a Cobra ESD 6060 in
the front window and a RMR DLS-310 in the back window! The RMR
falsed on POP so I just turned it off. When I ran into a cop they both
went off! The only problem is that the cop was 200 ft infront of me!

Putting 2 detectors in the same car would not work as they both would interfere with each other. One would make the other detector false alarm, vice versa.

It would work no problem. I think they would be far enough part where they would not interfere with each other.
I run 2 detectors side by side and have no problems.

I know some detectors will cause an issue, and I know Prof Jim says not to do it and I respect his thoughts on that and I understand how it could cause an issue but for me I have not had any problems.

Personally, I think it would work. Leakage on Whistler units is usually fairly minimal.

I'm gonna need a long extension cord so I can have it run to my back window. Should I mount it low or high?

Can I get pulled over for having it in my back window?

You have me curious as to why you wish to do this? Why?

To see how it works with one in the front, and one in the back.
