    Just because 2.5 miles of range is adequate in a perfect scenario doesn't mean you can't use more. Greater sensitivity, which can seem superfluous against C/O on a dead straight and flat road, might be the difference that gives you any warning against a cop parked up on an entrance ramp shooting away from your direction of travel in a hilly area.
