    Default Where to mount??????

Ihave the most important question..... where to mount the radar detector :?: Roy says at the lowet posssible position on the wind shield, Someone else said highest possible position? If it is low then would it not obstruct the laser detection from the back? Please help me clear this confusion :!: :? :? :?

I would mount high no matter what detector, better radar reception!

And somewhat hidden from prying eyes if it's hard-wired.

some say mount low, some say mount high. many argue the better performance of switching mounting positions, many will say theres no real difference. I made my decision on the fact that if its up high it's less noticable. I also have a phone cord running from the detector around the top of the windshield, down the side, under the steering wheel and connected to the smart plug and that plugged in. It looks awesome. Cant even tell I have a radar detector if you look from the back or side. And if you look at it from the front it's still kinda hard to tell because the suction cups are behind the tint strip. You cant see the detector itself right below the tint strip, but the average person doesnt really look at everyones window tint strip to see a radar detector. Its nice. I love where mine is mounted. Its right above the rear view mirror, actually sitting on it. I really love where I've mounted it!

doesnt the tint obstruct the radar/laser detection capabilities??I mounted it below the rear view mirror just below where the tint start? Is it ok to mount on tint? :?

well my actual radar detector is right below the tint strip. But i've heard the tint strip doesnt really effect radar unless its the metalic kind of whatever. But it does reduce laser significantly. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.
