    Default What do you think about this Setup?

    So I currently have this as my current setup/planned setup...

    - Bel RX65 hardwired with aux speaker
    - The Veil was ordered
    - The Cheetah C50 was ordered
    - A LI Dual is going to be ordered in Jan
    - Im also going to Black Out my "S" chrome emblem in Nov.
    - LEO plates and registration stickers (if that counts as a countermeasure) haha.
    - Trapster Running off Verizon's 3G on a Droid X

    I dont want a CB (because of antenna) and thats where I plan on stopping my setup....how effective (do u think) this be? Is this a good setup? Anybody running something like it? If so, have u been ticketed while running everything?

    If I JTG on Lasers, and slow when I get Trapster/radar alerts...what are other ways cops can get me? I dont believe GA uses VASCAR and I have never seen air planes or anything silly..In other words what else should I be on the lookout for?

    Sounds like the fuzz from Bulloch Co. (LEO plates?)

    I tripled the double nickle in your county last year during "Rolling Thunder."

    I had yo' rollin thunder under my hood



    I'd upgrade the RD. V1 PWNS I-16... But yea, sounds like a pretty decent setup.

    The LEO plates and registration stickers might hurt your set-up, unless you are actually a member or have a close family member in the FOP.

    YEs! u kno where i am! lol. I-16 is crazy sometimes!

    And yea i have a LEO family member. Works for the South Carolina Highway Patrol. He was unable to get me out of my last ticket but it worked itself out..

    So the setup is good with the mabey future addition of a Escort Redline or a V1?

    Sounds like a decent setup but I would advise you to rethink about getting a CB, it's the most underated CM there is IMHO.

    Good on ya for thinking about a V1 (1st) or Redline (2nd) both are quality RD's IMO.

    All you actually have is the RX65. Veil is no good without a jammer. CB is the cheapest counter measure for the money. Your plan is good. But all you have is a RD and a plan. Lots of people say the same thing about the antenna. But you really don't look cool as I drive by you with my antenna and you are looking at flashing lights. Up to you.

    You will JTG with that set-up.

    But what he's getting at, is you NEVER, EVER want to JTG an LEO. It is a dead give away that you are running counter-measures and he WILL pull you over.

    Do you have a kill-switch installed in your set-up ( or what I see now is you don't actually have this all set up yet or am I missing something. )

    I do have the Bel RX65, the trapser, and the LEO plates. The Veil G4 and Cheetah C50 are in the mail (will be installed in Nov). Finally the LI DUAL is not ordered and I currently dont have a date set...just when i get some cash...
    And yea I kno to kill the Jammers. lol. But I could probably JTG if I let em on...I wont cause its stupid but I was just saying. haha
