So I know this is kinda a weird question but it really had me thinking today. I didn't see it asked anywhere else...there's probably a reason why.
I understand that some Cobras emit a borderline Ka-band signal that is picked up by some of the better radar detectors that everyone has. Can this same signal be picked up by other Cobra detectors that other people are using?
For instance, two guys are traveling on a highway, both equipped with Cobra detectors that emit radar signals. They are next to each other...does car 1's Cobra detector go off as a result of the emission of radar signals from car 2's Cobra, and vice versa?
Or is this signal only picked up by the "better" detectors and thus Cobra can't detect it?
Thanks . . .
