What do you think the Escort? Can i buy it in best buy? Is V1 better than Escort 8500 X50??
Here we go again this is where the thread go's to mine is better than yours.
Buy both and send back the one that you don't like.
To a lot of members there is no best unit, everyone has there preference to the way an individual unit works, sounds, falses, explains threats, size, color of unit or LED's
You can buy Escort at Best Buy but if you don't like it there is a 30% restocking fee, you are better off buying it from Roy.
Some people say yes. But the X50 is $100+ cheaper. I'd trust getting an Escort from Roy before I'd trust Bestbuy considering the kind of "service" I got at the one they just opened near my house  Mind you they didn't have one RD in there at all, for certain reasons I guess :?
It all depends on the feature you want and what driving you are doing most. If you want a detector for just the interstates and highways, get the V1, If you do city driving I'd go with the Escort X50 both are great detectors
Spoiler: show
   who is behind this weird stuff, Valentine doesn't want its products to be sold by retailers (Circuit City, Best Buy, etc.) or the retailers don't accept Valentine's stuff :?: In either case, somebody knows the particular reason for that :?: Also, in case the product has a technical problem, and it's still under the 1-year warranty, who pays for the shipping to/from Valentine :?: because major retail stores (that carry most, if not all, of the Beltronics/Escort products) are almost everywhere and it's pretty easy to take your RD to your local store and they will exchange it or give you a refund if you wish to ask for money back (here each store has its own store policy but the major ones always tend to make each and every customer happy with their shopping experience) 8)Originally Posted by TeamQuack
