Default What has GOL radar test taught you?

In my opinion, I am convinced there is not one winner. I use to say V1 was on the top of the charts hands down. Now I can't say that, it appears that each has their strong points depending what radar gun you are hit with. :?

Some ka band radar units are much more difficult to detect than others. Frequency and power output plays a huge role in how much range you can expect.

SO the X50 was better than the original? I remember someone doing a test and saying the opposite. :?

It has taught me that not every detector is the same if even the same brand and model. Also I have learned that not every test is going to be perfect as we would like it. We always say this...... We should have done this or should have done that it is funny. I think it's ADD

    Default Well..

I think Outrun/Jason's V1 result should be thrown out as an anomaly - seems like there is something wrong with his unit, like it's LO is out of tune or whatnot -- PM'd him yesterday, probably going to be sending it to V1 for a tuneup, and from my experiences with V1, they call you and let you know if they found something odd.

If Outrun's results were tossed, I think the V1 would look more competitive.. all the V1 really needs is an automatic calibration or alert if the calibration starts to go.. or ability to see its calibration .. etc.. IMHO
