I had a single rear K band alert today, no other vehicles but a MB coming up fast about 1/8 mile behind. Area - four lane road Iím on normally has no alerts.
Bogey counter jumped to 3 as the E 65 AMG comes up to the rear and then passes, rear to side to front arrows, still 3 bogeys, all K band. I lose contact quickly, a little over a 1/8 mile in front of me as the E 65 proceeds at a very high rate of speed. Catch up with the E 65 at a stop light, right behind him, 3 K band bogeys, no other vehicles at the light and no RD on the dash or around the headliner.
Just seems ironic to build a sports car like that for an obvious car enthusiast and have it where you canít use your favorite RD of choice. At the very least use a radar frequency that would not interfere with the E 65 ownerís RD, if he had one, and negatively impacting us RD users. MB, looks like youíre having a Cobra pollution moment in marketing.
