Bye X50 HELLO Rx65

Just wondering but how many of you were going to buy an X50 but then after GOL testing changed to buying the RX65?

I think in the city, either one is fine.

But after seeing the difference USA mode makes - RX65 for the highway :wink:

I think Tick Magnet said it well, and the real factors that influence the final decision are the other features. I was impressed over all with the rx65, but everyone did relatively very well, for such a worst case senerio.

Personally my x50 best ka range on a real speed trap has been from 1.5 miles away on ka and 2.1 miles on k band. So if the V1 and rx65 would have gave me a 1.8 mile warning on ka and would have gave me 2:57 min of warning time befor passing the LEO and the x50 gave me 1.5 miles of warning time which gave me 3 min of warning time before passing the LEO clocking cars, should I really be concern that the x50 has ka problems. If the V1 gave me a 2.3 warning on a k band trap that took 3.58 befor crossing the LEO and my x50 gave a 2.1 mile warning that gave me 4 min before passing the LEO should I feel concern that the V1 came out ontop. If my x50 gave me 4min of warning time from 2 miles away from the LEO and the Sti gave a 1.5 mile warning that gave you 3min of warning time before passing the LEO means that the Sti k band "lacks"? If the V1 and x50 has better laser detection than the rx65. Does that make the V1 that much better by telling you, your about to get a ticket before the x50 andrx65 would? So when you add the features it evens up the board alot I would say. But when you really look at the numbers, seconds only seprate these top 4. So if all the top 4 are given us 3 and 4 min of warning time before the LEO is a threat who cares that one gives you 2 seconds of warning time before the other. But nobody wants to belive that so will continue saying" mines better than yours!"

x2, as I have said the results from the GOL testing on the X50 gives only results on what StealthJamal (or TheVeilGuy...depending on what band) can expect from their RD's... it has little or no ability to represent the likely probability that an 'average X50' would put-forth (unlike the averages one could use on the (STi, RX65, V1) because again only 1 X50 was used on each band... why? I dont know?)

It also boils down to what bands are in your area...(By far the most widely used is K-band) and... StealthJamals X50 on K-band had some power packed ability (but again is that just StealthJamals; would others have done better... about the same... worse? who knows..) I believe*not sure* StealthJamal even said his X50 had to 'Self Cal' itself just recently... is this good or bad?... all questions left unawnsered.

very true. everyday i go to my golf course which is basically in a very rural part of N. GA and all they use is K-band and ive gotten plenty of 2+ miles warnings from the x50.

V1 is still not the best THAT HAS BEEN PROVEN. look at the GOL results ON THE KA BAND TESTING 35.5 FREQ DID POOR JOB EVEN THE 3.826 VERSION ops:

Yall are looking at the small picture. Radar isnt everything. Dont forget about laser. V1 is the best all round Rd out there. followed by x50. What the x50 lacks in radar detection it gains in laser dection. I know that if you get an alert its too late. Bute the V1 & x50 have been noticed to pick up scatter.
