I want the best radar detector money can buy. Upgrade from a Bel Vector 940.

Whats the best of the best detector? I run a Belltronics vector 940. It works well but if I can get more range it would be nice.

I would love a stealth unit. I am considering the Beltronics STI. Is there any unit that works better?

I am also considering the Beltronics GX65. How well is it programed and how do you update it? Is it worth the extra money or does it miss alot of cameras and stuff?

I live in Pennsylvania and frequent NY, NYC, NJ, Virginia, and some other close to Pa areas. Whats goign to give me the best range and be the best detector? Should I wait for them to evolve more? It would be nice if it would show user updated speed traps on the gps detector.

If you're looking for a stealth windshield unit, the Escort Redline is for you. It's not much more $$ than the STi and it's newer.

For stealth a redline or sti r (sti r is better)

STi-R looks to beat nearly every RD pretty consistently. 9500ci comes a close 2nd. Then Redline/V1 (varies for 3rd place). I'm basing this off the videos I've seen, and that I'm unbiased in not owning any of the above yet..

Pretty sure those are the best money can buy you.

or you can place a tracking device on EVERY cop car by you and have a laptop in the car tracking them

Running radar in Virginia? You will definitely need stealth.

PA uses stationary K-band. Being you live here, strong K is a must.

Maybe you should look into a laser jammer for NY.

Very difficult question to answer as you will get allot of different opinions from all of us on this site.
For me V1 = favorite for IO/QT RADAR detection. The Redline = favorite for CO / Off axis detect.

It's my opinion you gota try em out to find your "best" one for you.
