I would say try the bel express 795 then use it for a few weeks and see what you think if you dont like then get your money back there is a 30 day return full refund on radar detectors at rdaiodhhok

You could also try the Whistler DE-1788 cordless for 30 days! It will be onsale until 2/18/2006. The only negative might be the 11.2oz weight with batteries. That would be about the same as 9.3 AA batteries!
