After reading some of these posts unless someone else has visited the area kpatz should be able to answer this question the best. 95% of my encounters are I/O and I live in a rural area and frequently drive 302 and the Kangamangus Highway which is very curvy and hilly considering you're ascending then descending a mountain. I also drive on rural roads so there is no such thing as a so called "rabbit." Concerning Route 302 I call it "The Road of -10," because if there is someone in front of you whatever the speed limit is you will be going 10 under. Good thing the break down lane is wide enough to pass sometimes...kidding. So given the terrain, 95% I/O (10% K-Band I/O, 85% Ka-band I/O) and no rabbits what would be the best detector?
Just a random question and idea, please don't get offended, not my intention. Why is there voice alert? Are people really tone deaf because the beeping noises are substantially different in pitch/sound. I know the new ones you can disable it, but here is my idea: why not let the user set the voice alert? Have a gun shot or a woman having an orgasm and it gets faster as you get closer. Of course that would suck for Bel peeps since it would be 1 shot to all out machine gun warfare.
Cheers. Any help appreciated.
