a mix of ka and k for moving but mainly ka for moving and then a little k still for stationary radar. most of the KCMO leo's all have a lidar unit but the outer cities are still on radar mainly

Here in Cleveland I see mostly KA with some K mixed in. I've never witnessed X-band in action myself but know its in use.

Also I've seen tons of Laser.

Default Northern Michigan (and others) Radar Usage

Traveling from Grand Rapids north to the Eastern Upper Peninsula, I encounter (V-1 POP2) mostly k-band. But ka is getting more and more popular..but minor laser. Traverse City Police have been known to set up traps with cops posing as city construction workers lasering folks and radioing ahead a couple blocks to a half dozen city cop cars. I have encountered, strangely enough, some {powerful} x-band radars! Traveled through Chicago over the years and have encountered police using x-band as well. Yet another reason I would never ever disengage my x-band coverage!!!! Advance Logic Mode on the V-1 works great for me!

In Tennessee the troopers use KA but in my small local town the police use X and K.
