Default Higher End Bands Are Being Used More & More

The higher end bands are now being used very commonly now-a-days. X & K are rarely being used in majority of places. KA and Lidar is where its at. Then, soon enough, rear Lidar is soon stepping up as well. Just a wake up call for all those jammers who only have front protection, do not forget that LEO's will be catching on & eventually will start aiming at the rear more often.. its only a matter of time.

Thanks for the heads up, I never expected technology to move forward.

Yes, technology keeps moving forward and so must we. Many small towns still use the old bands but they will eventually be replaced (using tax payer dollars). The arms race continues. To be honest, I wonder how much of a difference some of the newer equipment / methods (QT/IO, etc) really makes. Most drivers do not have counter measures so it's probably more hype than anything else.

I think it's more about practicality. Ka band antennas are smaller and lighter, and laser is useful for dense traffic.

It would be my dream come true if police only used laser.

Everyone would just buy laser jammers and we'd never worry about a ticket again.

Im scared to say this on this forum, but the ultimate way I'd give tickets is to use X band Q/T or even C/O near known falses buildings. Most people turn off X bands anyway.

The tighter and lower powered Ka beams makes it easier for the Leo to pin point his prey......

Don't you run into interference running near other radar emitters?
