Any new developments in radar detectors in the past 12 months?

Haven't been on the forum in a long time, just curious what changed.

High end/long distance:
When I left it was Valentine1 3.872 (with no updates in sight)
Escort Redline

Quiet:
Escort 9500ix
Escort iQ (M4 based)

Remote mount:
Escort 9500ci (with useless Zr4 shifters)
Beltronics STiR discontinued
Beltronics STiR Plus for U.S. announced that it "may" come sometime in the future.

"Quieting chatty radars":
Cheetah c100
Cheetah GPS mirror
Escort GPS "something-rather"

Laser protection:
good: Blinder M-27
better: Laser Interceptor


Beyond that, any new developments/improvements?

i.e.: new Escort M3 (or better) radar detectors, better Laser protection, etc.

STi-R+ has been released already. There is a new 8500ci remote which is based on the m4 platform so nothing too special. Supposedly, V1 has beta v3.873 units out there with an update for the k-band sensors.

STi R Plus is hitting the streets and it is a beast.
8500ci Plus hit the market (Qi 45 with GPS), have not heard alot about it but assume same performance as the 8500 window mount unit.

Haven't you heard? The Valentine 2 is coming out real soon now. Oh wait, I think we stopped talking about the V2 a couple of months ago. Nevermind.

What's with the cruise alert (CRU) on the 8500ci plus and is this something that will be added to other detectors via software patch. How about the ability to adjust warnings for the speed cameras, speed traps, etc., that's what I want. Someone has to know whether or not Escort is working on the killer detector, M3 platform with all bells and whistles.
