My dad just dug up an old Future Tech FT2001 and gave it to me. Anybody tell me anything about it? Will it detect all current KA? Not going to replace my V1 or anything but I'm going to play around with it.

Yes it will detect KA. It's produced by Early Warning. That's all I've found so far.

Play with it for sure. Have fun ! Do some different antenna horn mods to it with a old pizza box and some aluminim foil and see what happens when you drive by a walmart or such. same advice but this beauty looks like it has a whole lot of room for this kind of thing indeed ! I'd mount a parabolic antenna to it with a horn feed in the center of the dish !

So far haven't picked up any KA but it is a lot quieter on K since it doesn't pick up the shopping center doors very well!
