TOM TOM GPS GO 700
I am considering carrying the Tom Tom GPS units on our new website that will be launching in the next couple months
I ordered 3 of the Go 700 units (their top of the line). One I will be testing, the other two are avaiable at discount to any forum member that may want to order one.
If you are interested, $650.00 each, includes ground shipping.
The first 2 that PM me that confirm that they want one, will get these. Payment by Palpal
The Tom Tom units are the best that I have tried. I owned a Tom Tom 300 when I lived in London and it was great at picking up the GPS signals even in London! The new Tom Tom 700 has BLUETOOTH so you can sync it with your mobile and use the Tom Tom to make calls.
I also download a database for all the UK speedcameras and accident black spots so the Tom Tom would alert me when I was close to one.
The Tom Tom is also the easiest to use of all these gadgets. I am a big Magellan fan but had to bite the fact that the Tom Tom is better and cooler looking then the Magellan units.
If it runs on batteries or electricity and has lights and makes sounds......I got to have it! 8)
Thats a good price, to bad that is too far down on the want list for me.

Yeah I remember watching Fifth Gear's review of all of those GPS systems, and they liked the tomtom best as well as I recall.
Now with speed cameras crawling all over AZ I think it's an excellent venture for you to go into.
TomTom units are great for Euope, so so for the US...
For the US, Garmin units are the best. The reason is maps. TomTom uses Teleatlas maps which have inferior coverage compared to the NavTeq maps Garmin uses.
I'd recommend you also sell Garmin units like the Nuvi... which absolutely blows the pants off the TomToms.
I use TomTom Navigator 5 on my Palm Treo and a Garmin Nuvi in the car btw..
Well there is another reason that I am looking at the Tom Tom and that is the Blue Tooth
Does Garmin have any with BT???
Yeah, bluetooth would be nice, but even without it I think the Garmin Nuvi would be a much better buy (especially because it uses the NavTeq data). Now if you decide you want to sell the Nuvi, then I'd probably be up for buying one of them
Garmin has filed a lawsuit against Tom Tom.....Heard they might stop selling them here  Better check it out first Roy :!:
Re: Tom Tom
There are no Garmin units with built in Bluetooth Currently, however there are Garmin units with built in XM radio, XM Weather and XM Traffic service.

My father was just fixing to buy a GPS unit for his truck for about $700. But in the end for $99 bucks he bought I think a tom tom unit or something that you put on the dash and plug it into your laptop and you can see everything on that huge screen on the laptop. Just awesome.
