Default What is the Percentage of the actual driving public that

Uses an RD or has anyone compiled that information. The reason that I ask is that if there are only a limited amount of people that actually use a RD what can we expect related to the use of the Escort Live. I already purchased mine and will get Escort Live but will I wind up being the only "scout" car out there especially living in Mississippi.

I will probably buy the 9500ix gaming edition and for 40$ I could have live. Why not?

I think it will be nice to have an app on your phone so that your passenger can play with it or just for a different display...

The fact that others contribute by alerting you ahead of time is just a bonus in my case.

I am expecting the same in my rural area, SMALL PERCENTAGE, but I will sign up regardless & recommend every one do the same.. We MUST support this system for it's full potential to be achieved. It will work in the Metro's, and may work well in the rural areas. Once I fully understand the operation of the system in order to sell others to join and teach them how to use it properly, I will recruit. I'm hoping Escort will implement & embrace a referral system for every sign up to Escort Live. I will start another thread on the idea so not to hi-jack this thread.

A 500 dollar RD in Mississippi I would think is pretty rare. Yes you are a scout.

It is like the CB radio, more popular in some states and areas than others. RD usage I feel is the same way, maybe 10 percent overall, but higher in some states and lower in others.

My completely uneducated guess would be 5-7 million nationwide.

How many with RDs also have smartphone?
Do you need a RD to participate? Why couldn't someone load the "live" app on their smartphone and participate without having a RD?
