Default Escort live(and the like) sitdown

After using a program called Trapster (and a 9500IX) on my drive to and from TN and FL, it seems that 90% of the time when a cop was hiding, Trapster showed "police often hide here". Can anyone please tell me how escort live will perform with rolling KA, I mean, will it show up on a map as just a red "radius" bubble? And I can't imagine all that many people will want to PAY MONEY for a product that has already, in a sorts, been invented(minus automatic radar tagging)...for free?? Especially when the userbase ratio of trapster vs escort live is way up there...Escort? Please sway me and my $80+subscription renewals over from Trapster by telling me what you have to bring to the table? :/

I'll pay for it. From what I've read it has a time line using colour, it incorporates arrows as well. As far as I can tell it turns a none gps detector into a GPS unit. So the Redline will now mute at known false alert spots bit like a 9500ci. It's a lot more than tapsters Dude. Well that’s my take so far.
I was talking to a major detector dealer in my country yesterday. He didn’t sound so excited about it because of the fact my redlines going to turn into a 9500ci (if introduced here) It’s about money for him naturally. For me it's great!!! I’m feeling very zombie about it at the mo.

Do you guys have an idea of how much data you will be eating on your phone? Obviously it would depend on your usage of it but let's say 30 miles a day total commute. Would 1 gig a month be sufficient?

I have an unlimited plan, but you might want to switch providers if you're worried, there's quite a few to chose from.

I run google maps on my commute just to see traffic patterns.

I have an unlimited data plan on my T-Mobile phone. Unfortunately, it's an HTC HD7, which is a Windows Mango phone, so Escort Live! doesn't support it.

Venumizer, great post and questions. If you have not already done so consider signing up tomorrow for our Live broadcast and perhaps you will be one of the winners and you can get the Live and subscription for free to test out.

If this is true, then the ONLY thing swaying me even still on the redline is the Q/T issue I sent back my 9500IX tonight because of that...I even parked in a lot right across from where a LEO was sitting and got NOTHING until he whipped out to pull someone over...then full blast KA...WTH!? the officer's hands were not in sight so NOTHING was held up to his eyes(NOT laser). Judging by the looks of the antennas, he was *possibly* using the stalker DSR as it's the only one I know of with a remote for super quick I/O that the 9500IX seemed to miss Maybe the 9500IX was defective?? Look at this video and how fast this sucker is!! Instant on Radar 71 mph in 55 mph .. Just a little too fast. - YouTube

I can only speak for myself but from reading the review of RadarRoy on Escort live, I think it's a must for a Redline user like me. Redline minus false alerts = paradise. The only thing left to fix is the low performance against I/O and it will be a phenomenal unit. The good thing I find about Escort live is that every Live user is able to benefit from all the radar detector users signed up.

i.e. A user with a super range with a Redline can compliment a 9500ix. But the IX user can compliment the Redline with red light camera.

You know I've run a V1 for years. I now also have a Redline. While the Q/T is an issue to some I really haven’t had ANY problem with the i/o capabilities of the redline to tell you the truth, one time a while back an over the hill detection by the redline saved my rear end while the V1 would have got me toasted as it alerted when the officer was in sight (keep that on the low down) . While I still prefer the V1 the Redlines pretty bloody good at what it does. As posted before this live system is going to really improve your i/o sporting chances. I thinking that the whole idea of the system!

Another question about Escort Live is moving Ka I/O, how is that going to work? I guess you could see the progression of the LEO on the road if a lot of users have Live but it would be highly sketchy at first for sure. I guess we will have to wait for some reviews
