Best detector for about $200?

Need advice from my fellow detector users. I am considering buying a new detector for about $200. I purchased a Whistler xtr190. Cordless and you get what you pay for. It seems to be sensitive to other detectors. I owned a Escort 8500 years ago. It was a decent detector but the price of the 8500 x50 is a bit steep. Any suggestions?

X2, you said it, you get what you pay for!....I would never tell some to buy a RD that is not a top performer unless I want to pay for their ticket!

Get a used 8500 x50 from Ebay for 150 or less. Also check your local craigslist and pawn shops. This is the best cheap rd

anything s7 or m4 that doesn't have self calibration issues. really need something to take care of lidar though nowadays
