If "regular" detectors work best for radar mounted high, wouldn't mounting a remote detector like a Whistler 3500/Bel 975R higher that the bumper/grille in a car work better for receivng radar? If a car had a sunroof and one of these deflectors tall and long enough to conceal the antenna :
at least w/the Whistler, the laser antenna can still be mounted inside on the windshield over the wipers to get the lidar signal. Would this location make a difference in signal reception?
