:?: I live in Pa. where the local cops use a speed trap devise called ENRADD. Is anyone fimiliar with this and are radar detectors cabable of detecting there signal? I want to get a detector but I mustly do local driving where local enfocement is the problem.
ENRADD (Electronic Non-Radar Detection Device) uses two devices that shoot laser beams across the road. When a vehicle breaks each beam, the device sends the data wirelessly to a reader in the patrol car which calculates the speed.
Detectors would probably have little to no chance of detecting the signal.

PA is a weird state. Why in the hell would a state only allow it's state troopers to run radar and NO LEO is allowed to use laser?
I don't know but I live in PA and it's good for me!
I rather like the idea of local cops not being allowed to use radar! 8)
I don't, if cops can't use radar or lasers, that means they can stop you whenever they think you are speeding... I'd rather have them use radar and lasers than anything else, but that's just because I can spot them from miles out..
