Does anyone know of a tester for detectors that cover all the popular bands used? Something that can be placed in front of the detector being tested that will give a crude go/no go test?

Cheaper to send the unit back to the manufactor to be test fully and corrected if needed. Other wise, door openers (X and k) and the local Leo station...
That's what I have been doing over the years but thought there might be an easier way to give a "go/no go" test result.
I have never seen nor heard of a tester! Please give the names if they are so common!
Here is a lidar testor you can build.
Test your radar detector or laser jammer with this traffic enforcement LIDAR gun simulator
Here you go. Just as I said.

Thanks for the info guys. I was hoping a "cheap" one that covered the popular bands was available (a comercially made one) that has a very short range (a couple of feet). Alas, the idea was too good to be true.
