Maybe its because I have a Redline. I drove by a CHP guy this evening who was tucked off the shoulder next to the bushes, and he was shooting I/O, but (this is California) his radar was more on than off.
Does he actually (think he can) capture someone that way who is running a detector? Or is it just his way of passing the boredom away?
what he doesn't know is IO is also used to delineate specific speeding cars a little bit better
this is also why police often angle their radar across the road
