Default What's the state of the art in detectors now?

It's been a long time since I have been here. Last detector I bought from Roy was the then new undetectable STi Driver. Well, time has sure passed quickly. Sadly I hear Roy has since passed away and my STi Driver, although still detecting well is obsolete. It picks up all these new lane-change falsies and truck satellites making it almost useless. It is time for a replacement. I see there are a couple of new undetectable RDs plus this new kid on the block from Uniden. I was just wondering if anyone can tell me what the best undetectable RDs are this year?

While I am finding the new Uniden R1 and Uniden R3 to still be detectable to SPECTRE (contrary to reports otherwise), it's nearly undetectable and I would feel safe driving with it in VA. Both detectors are state of the art, in my opinion, and the R3 is absolutely crushing it. It's currently my favorite detector and has knocked the V1 off of its perch in my mind, at least for radar. For laser, the V1 is still the king.

The new Escort Redline EX remains the only windshield-mount that is completely undetectable and I suspect that's going to go to the top of list for many as well.

They're the three: Uniden R1, Uniden R3, Escort Redline EX.
