    Default Hellcat coming, Need suggestions

Have a Dodge Hellcat coming and looking for suggestions. Primarily drive Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and sometime Tennessee.

They use a mix of laser and Ka band.. I think. The reason I say this is because I appear to have been lasered at times but I get no reading from my Escort Passport 9500IX Radar/Laser Detector on by BMW suv. But I also dont get pulled over..maybe because I am in a pack of other cars also going 10-15 mph over the limit...not sure. Im also not sure if police are using a different band.

What I also would like to know is which direction the detection is coming from. The Escort does not tell me if the police is in front of behind me.
Also note this: Our state does NOT require front license plates and I dont have any front license plats on any of my cars.

So I am looking for a solutions at 2 different price points due to budget:

Price point 1: Under the rear view mirror mounted radar/laser detector. Which would be best?
Price point 2: Laser diffuser/jammers in addition to the above.

Let me know your thoughts. Thank you!

    My suggestions would be:

    Detector: Uniden R3

    Jammer:

A lot of people swear by the ALPs, but they ain't the cheapest. Escort and soon, Blinder offer jammers claiming to be every bit as effective all around as the ALPs have been regarded and may require less heads to do it. If you are willing to wait a little bit, Blinder would be my ultimate suggestion. Of course, I'd recommend Veil G5 (call me biased) for a solid defense-in-depth approach. It's cheap insurance at less than $100.

    Hope this helps you.

Everything is available from radarbusters.com, except the ALPs.

    Best

Does Blinder have a new product coming? Or are they sold out of stock? You said "if I can wait..."
How does Escort vs. Blinder compare?

Should be "similar" in performance, different packaging, I believe. Shifters may be priced slightly below Blinders. I'll post an update when I know more for sure.

Blinders were to be sometime in September, but we'll see. They've missed launch dates before...

I really like the looks and options on the Escort 360. The directional arrows are what I was looking for. Does Escort have a product that integrates with it for laser diffusion/Jammers?

Lol. You don't need detection for that rubber burner, you need to buy track time! The real fun of a beast like that can never be experienced on a highway, unless of course you're from Iowa or Texas. I buy track time at $200 an hour from NASCAR. You'll have to sign a butt load of paper work once, and your good to go!
