Escort X50 put red in it from my old 8500, made old one blue

I Made my old 8500 blue (bought 5 years ago) and the X50 red, just switched the LEDS. The only store to carry the X50 only had blue and said red would take up to 8 weeks to special order. I wanted to save some money, but I bought the blue and found out that I couldn't see the blue LED with my Blueblocker sunglasses on, but that problem is now solved.

You should have saved yourself money and time changing the leds by just ordering the red x50 from roy at radarbusters.com

now that you mentioned it...

can you:

- buy an X50 Red from best buy (coz they are not real radar detector profesionals like roy)

- swap the internals with the original 8500

- return the X50 for a refund and pay the re stocking fee
