    Default radar tickets

How does the police prove that you where speeding when you go to court. Is there a reading that is printed off so the judge can see or is it just his word.

i think they time stamp the ticket, then in court they look at the gun memory to find otu when the speed was obtained, then match the time stamp on the gun and ticket to make sure they match. i could be wrong though.

    Basically just the officer's word.
No guns that I know of have any kind of internal memory that saves readings. Some radar units can be connected to external devices such as a computer or printer, but this is almost never done.

Yeah you wish Hearsay would be if the officer was told by someone else that you were speeding.

Basically the courts take the officers at their word since they are viewed as trained objective observers with nothing to gain by lying. You on the other hand have alot to gain from lying and the courts will take the cops word over yours in the he said I said game.

You beat a ticket by breaking down the cops testimony by skillful cross examination and creating reasonable doubt over the statement of factrs. In some jurisdictions its impossible to beat the ticket since its all a big cash grab

Depends some vechiles have video with radar hook into them. Meaning that if the officer has you on tape he might have your speed on their also.

Speed signs log what time speeders like to speed by. Never heard of it being used in court.

This is direct testimony, which is the best evidence in court!!
