Valentine 1:

10.500 - 10.550 GHz (X band)
24.050 - 24.250 GHz (K band)
33.400 - 36.000 GHz (Ka band)
13.400 - 13.500 GHz (Ku band)
820 - 950 nanometers (Laser)

SR7:

X-band 10.525 GHz ± 25 MHz
K-band 24.150 GHz ± 100 MHz
Ka-band 34.700 GHz ± 1300 MHz
Laser 904nm, 33 MHz Bandwidth

I have neither but would go with V1...If you consider the SR7, I would suggest you also consider the RX75 as they are from the same manufacturer I believe. A quick search on Google and you see that according to Radartest.COM (no idea how accurate or credible this test is or whatever (before I get flamed), just too lazy to keep on searching...)

Seems, RX75 has superior LASER detection to the SR7, with some searching you might also find a comparison between the V1 and the SR7 (the annual tests on Roy's page for example)...Hope this helps...

just save your money and get a V1. Use the rest of your money to get a top end Laser Jammer(AL6).

If you want a stealth install get the BEL RX75 Plus. Is it's a radar detector and laser jammer and a great performer... I was thinking about a concealed unit unfortunately I couldn't afford it
