i deliver here in sierra vista, most cops here use instant on, KA and K bands im driving quite often and my pro58 seems to not be cutting it lately. Sure its saved my ass but i have had quite a few close calls. It seems to have bad periphial vision

. So whats a good radar detector for me. Money is not that much of a deal long as its not outrageous.

BEL v995, V1, BEL RX65, BEL 895, Escort 8500 x50

All of those are good choices for an upgrade

Used Escort 8500(nonX50), Bel 985, and Valentine V1.7. All will get you great detection for less! 8)

PM Roy for a discounted price on the Bel 65 and X50. If you want to buy the last detector you will ever need you can get a returned V1 for $359 or a new one for $399. Each will do a great job. V1>>>X50>>>RX 65.

does the v1 pick up or will it be able to be upgraded cheaply for that new ku that might be heading out soon. i dont want to have to spend money to get that ku.

The current shipping V1 can detect Ku along with the BEL v995 and BEL rx65. However don't think of Ku as a threat cause it is too easily detected to be used. and the prototype gun from kustom has lost it's thunder after not working at SML
