guy radar guns
i know ebay sucks for buy detectors, but what about radar guns? i found a kustom falcon K band for $150 and $200. would these be ok to buy on ebay? i want to buy some guns to do some testing with. also saw some stalker and mph K band units also.
how do you go about getting your hands on a Ka unit? i really want a laser gun but....$2000 is a bit much. :cry:
Sure, those should work OK. You can find Ka units on ebay too.

Most of the good ones end up selling for $800+, but you can sometimes find older Ka units around $300 or so if you're lucky.Originally Posted by againstme!

Sure, that's the center of the band.
Just a heads-up though: be very careful about getting caught operating "Part 90" police-grade radar without a license. Unlicensed operation is a misdemeanor, with penalties of 1 Year in jail and a $10,000 fine. (Much worse than a speeding ticket :P )

:shock: . ill be carefull. ill go out to the boonies to use it. now i just need to decide if i should go with a k band or the ka band unit.
if you could pick between the Stalker Stationary ATR Ka band, or the Kustom Falcon K band, which one would you pick? :?:
Personally, I would pick the Stalker.
