Default The Best Detector is Not the Detector

Sometimes I know myself we get so use to saying hey that radar detector is my cop detector. We forget to use other techniques that would even distance are selfs even more from that court room or the ticket. Here some tips some of you might already know but its always good positive reinforcment.

    1. look off in the distance with the car infront of you why did that cars breaklights come on so sudden maybe over the hill is a guy with a laser gun or just around the corner. this has save me atleast a couple of time with laser.

    2. Check your rearview mirror every so often sometimes the cop will just follow right behind you to see what your speed is.

    3. Never be the lone ranger. All it takes is one instant on pop and your dead. Always leave somebody infront of you to take the first hit that will then become your warning. This has saved me on countless times.

    4. Try to stay away from the far left fast lane. Cops point the radar guns and Laser guns in that lane first. Theres been times where I have done 90 in the middle lane and the car to the left of me did probably 80 and he got pulled over and I didnt because he was in the fast lane and he got hit first.

    5. If you think your being followed by a cop for maybe a ticket always take the first exit. Try to find a car as similar as possiable to yours in the resturant or shopping center and go inside for a few minutes. This happen to me atleast twice and it paid off.

    6. This trick sometimes works especially if your passing underneath a overpass bridge. If your going over and you know you being called in by a police car ahead. Try to find a truck to hide behind. the officer will say its a bright white car has is headlights on the drivers wearing sunglasses. Turn your headlights out take your sunglass off and then hide behind a truck if you can. The truck will reflect a shadow on your car giving your car a different looking hue or color. And your headlights are turn off. The officer ahead will be looking for another car that describes the officer description as you have change the color of your car by the shadow and your headlights arent on. Very deceptive. This has work for me several times.

    7. This is a little harder try to find a state trooper sticker for your state stick it on your windshield. When the cop comes up to hand you a ticket he will see the state tropper sticker and will probably think twice before hand you one. This is legal infact my grandad who was a state trooper use to get all kinds of commerative windshield stickers.

8 If you get pulled over when the officer comes up to your window look for his name tag and say his name and say this " hey officer joe dont I know your daughter" then insert his last name to the daughters name say o yeah her name is Ms act like your thinking and then say o yeah its Ms. Henderson. This has work 4 times and it got me off a ticket. Its failed 3 times. So its a gamble.

There are mine try to post yuur tips yes a radar detector is great. But nothing beats your own eyes and other cars infront of you.

Also if a cop comes up to you and puts his lights on. Just keep driving and driving and driving at a low speed. it will be a low speed chase. Thats one thing cops arent use to is doing a low speed chases. You could on for miles. Although the ending result might be jail time.

At least it looks like a regular Lancer. My car looks like a regular 900, but there are very very few 900's of any type :x

Most times when I have been booked, I needed a "Stupidity Detector" rather than a laser jammer or radar detector.
The stupidity..mine.. is what gets me! Like the time I overtook an unmarked patrol car at Warp 6. He never even turned on his radar, he didn't have to =]
Or another time driving into a trap in full view and with plenty of time to get legal even without a detector. But no, I knew better...They aren't using rardar, my Escort DSP is silent....as you would expect it to be with the power cable unplugged!
DOH, Stupidity detector. Thats what I need!
