Aright i've learned alot about hardwring from searching through old posts. But theres one area that i'm still very confused about. The connection inside the fuse box. The detector i'm using is the 8500 and i've already ordered the direct wire from Roy. I drive a 1992 honda accord and i've already mapped out a route for the wire leading to the fuse box which is right by the footwell. My question is how do i connect to a power source inside of the fuse box? I looked in there and i'm just confused as to where to find a power source. I have no clue what to do, i thought i read somewhere to pull out a fuse and just stick the + wire into the slot and stick the fuse back in ?
Anway i'd appreeciate it if someone could give me some instruction on what to do inside the fuse box and what exactly to do with the two wires that come from the RD. Do i strip them or leave them? They look like they come with connectors but if i'm bridging a power source wouldnt i want the raw wire to wrap or something?
