No alert from CVS pharmacy

Doing some laser stuff today I pulled up to a new cvs pharmacy and I realized wait a minute sure is quiet. Yep no alerts. So, I thought wow they are not on k band anymore but now on x band. So, I turned on X band and got nothing. I thought ok lets try something else. I got my k band gun out and it alerted to it right away. Then after getting what I needed at cvs I drove 3 miles down the road and x band went off. So all bands are working but still no alert from the store. Is this something new or what?

I know that some grocery stores around by my house dont use lasers for their doors. Instead they have weight sensors on the bottom so when you step on it the door opens. Maybe thats what is new at the CVS but I highly doubt it.

Yeah it didn't have the weight things. It had the sensors above the door. I think it said optex or something.

Hey Outrun was it by any chance on the V1?

On my V1 it has just started to sporadically miss X&K band alerts for me... it would be odd if yours was now doing this also?

Yeah it was on the V-1.

Mayur can't believe you found that. I was just trying to remember what it was. It kinda looked like the 202c I think. I had my camera with me but didn't video it. Looking at the others maybe it's infared or something.

You need to run your other RD by the same CVS and see what happens.

Maybe the sensor fell out of tune. After all, your RD did alert to the K band gun.

Well there are 4 sensors surely it would have picked up one of them. I will take the rx65 with me tomorrow and see what happens.

Yeah this is what I did.. I took my X50 with me and put it on Freq. display, this would give me a general idea of how close the sensors were to K band... I forgot how far off it was, but it was almost dead on... granted the Freq. displays can be off by slight margins: The fact the X50 picked up the falses perfectly, and the # was close on to dead-center 24.150 and in other cases Xband, it makes me think it was certainly the V1 in error.

Simple search on google for optex showed first result :P Anyways I'm just starting to think that there was a problem at that specific CVS with it's sensors. Do go again later and let us know what happens.
