Is anyone aware of a radar jammer that is sleek (Similar to the Blinder M40 units) but has the capability to jam RADAR. I have seen the scorpion jammer,l and I have also seen their size ..huh.. I want something not too noticeable, yet powerfull.

IMO if you just operated this for a second until you got to the PSL, you should be ok. The officer would probably just think it's interference. This happens with power lines and such.

Read some of the first hand accounts of users that had them.
Most have had problems with the unit falling out of calibration and then they were unable to get hold of anyone to get them repaired

Default Scorpion Radar Jammer / $1,500.00

:!: The Scorpion Radar Jammer seems like the perfect product.

 Here is the hypothetical situation:

 You are going 15 mph over the speed limit. All of the sudden your V1 "instant on" radar detector starts screaming on full alert. At the same time your Scorpion is jamming the cops radar gun and he cant get a reading. You slow down, flick the switch off, and allow the cop to get a speed reading. All of this happens within 3-5 seconds. You are saved from a $250 fine.

It seems like the Scorpion, if used in the exact manner I just described will buy you precious seconds of reaction time against instant on KA radar.

Does anyone have a different take? I'm considering purchasing this product.

    Imagine the ultimate package.

    1) Valentine 1 Detector ($400)
    2) NavAlert GPS ($300)
    3) Blinder Extreme M-40 Laser Jammer ($700)
    4) Scorpion Radar Jammer ($1,500)
    5) Veil coating ($80)
    6) Photo blocker spray ($25)
    7) Photo Reflector license plate covers ($60)

OMGosh! It makes me so excited just to think about it!

The ultimate package would not have a Blinder.

^ Since JAZZY has started to poke-holes in your "Ultimate Package," I guess I won't feel so bad here, either....

Neither of your last two cited products really work all that well at all. At best, I would say that they would give you only a false sense of security.

Have a search around for information regarding these products. You'll see that there's already pretty much conclusive proof that they either don't work at all (especially versus some of the higher-tech red-light/speed camera setups), or don't work well enough to protect you.

Get one of those strobe things that Roy sells for the license plate that has actually been proven by SML to block speed cameras by flashing a strobe down on the plate thus over-exposing the photo.

Mythbusters tested the sprays and plate covers and everyone of them completely failed.

As for the radar jammer, maybe Jim wil adress this in a better manner, but essentially if you jam a radar gun it doesnt just draw a blank, the jamming signal messes with doppler audio tone and the officer immediately knows he is is recievin an interferring signal. That combined with not being able to lock you and then suddenly being able to clock you at a legal speed would be more than enough to get you for opperating a jammer, which is a felony. $250 richer but in prison= not worth it to me...

I don't believe he sells them anymore because they don't work against video cameras, multi-exposure devices, et. al.
I'd add a Raytheon AGM-88B as long as we're fantasizing. Works well. Adjust the WGU-2/B for the right frequencies and 'bam', no radar!
