Not Ranked : +0 / -0 0 score Radar COSINE Jamming? LEGAL? I'm sure its NOT legal, but a specific loophole I'll bet.
After reading this thread about jamming. I got to thinking.
<<<<smoke rising >>>>>>
My speedos broken, so I use a dash mounted K band to keep me in line.
I know it puts out my speed farther than a normal traget acquistion so I don't run fast doing it to bone either myself or someone in the wrong place at the wrong time.........
I bet it maybe saved some people too.
Now my point:
If I align the antenna I get accurate speeds but If I turn the antenna so a cosine error develops my speeds go WAY down. Like 10 - 12 MPH at 70 MPH plus before the instrument losses its signal and readings.
So I think I'm at or near a 45 degree angle when transmitting........
Hence my question,
QUESTION:
With an antenna angled at or near 45 degrees transmitting, is the doppler shift beneficial to anyone in the immediate area?
I also realize that the X and K band are close enough that at speeds enough of a shift may produce a reading "across the band"...............
Someone gonna get a 140 MPH ticket?
Thinking out loud.......................
