Speeding Enforcement Moving to Glen Avenue

It's the next phase in the Millburn Police Department's program to curtail speeding.

Millburn police will be moving their new speed enforcement program to Glen Avenue in the coming weeks.

The electronic sign has been stationed on Glen Avenue near the Millburn-Short Hills Volunteer First Aid Squad's building to warn drivers to slow down. The speed limit on the road is 25 miles per hour.

It would be the fourth road police have enforced speeding in the last few weeks. The program started on Hobart Avenue before moving to Old Short Hills Road. Police are wrapping up their enforcement campaign on White Oak Ridge Road.

The program starts with police placing the electronic sign on the street where they plan enforcement. It warns drivers to slow down or risk a ticket. The next step is actual enforcement and police handing out tickets.
