    Default Hi Power CBs

I've been out of CBs for quite a while and am looking for sources of "souped up" CBs for my car.
I used to have a source on an Indian reservation but can't find the card.
If anyone knows of any sources, pls PM me or something.
Is there any sites dedicated to this topic?

    Thanks in advance!

there is no high power cb radios not cb but you can allways have a peak&tune to get a little bit more audio and watts. a factory cb radio will
only do legal 4watt max but like i say do a peak&tune or get you a amp
behine it and a good antenna. but on sideband cb channels your max watts
is 12watts legal litmit. export radios are the bomb tho! galaxy or ranger radios
are the way to go but you will need to do the mods to get cb channels
on the export radios anyway your best bet is to buy a amp for you cb radio then match those to up to and you are set PM me if you want some links on where to get a alot of info on cb stuff and export radios and amps

    Default High powered CB

The best cb for power and size, may be the Magnum 257. Small and compact with up/down mic.

from there web site... The output power is continuously variable, up to a maximum of 30Watts, with a minimum of approx 1W.

then how is it legal to sell? fcc only allow 4w, is it because it is not made in usa and "the law" does not apply

    Frequency: 28-29.7MHz (expandable to 25.15-29.7MHz)

    is that standar cb frequency?

There are a number of radios out there that are sold as "ham radios" for bands very near to the CB band. Some of these are specifically designed so that if you "clip the green wire and plug this plug into this socket" (that's a literal description, by the way), you now have a high-power multi-band radio that will send and receive on the CB band.

Some that will transmit at over 4 watts on the CB band are known as "export" (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) radios.
