Wouldnt trust that site to much. There are many sites out there, be sure and compare them.Originally Posted by Nothegger
I just now looked into it and some of the frequencies were off for the Truncked system my city uses.
Do a search and you'll come up with plenty of sites to read along.
Here is a great website for scanner frequencies you have to register its free then go on the top go to forums and then click on rr data base has everything one could want for scanning also has a uniden forum and you can post any questions about uniden scanners there alot of great people who have the answers. I use my scanner alot actually all 6 of them.

That is an awesome site, thanks to Outrun who showed me that. I also use another site but it would be no help to you since it is only for my area.Originally Posted by fireant
I used to have that scanner and liked it until it broke (I bought it used on ebay so I'm not too surprised). It didn't do too good a job with the pre-programmed frequencies, and I had a little trouble getting it to scan around, so make sure you know the frequencies you want to listen to.
Also it doesn't do 800mhz but it seems like most people with 800mhz these days are digital anyway and then you're looking at $500 so go figure...
Aren't alot of county's using a trunking system?
depends on area, I know on LI the Suffolk county PD is trunked but upstate, non of the pd's are trunked not even the NYSPOriginally Posted by 1990FordEscort
