    Default CB & Bike

Has anyone tried the J&M unit? Looks like a neat way to get a CB on a bike. But at $299 that seems pricey for a CB

I've debated with myself whether to add a CB but I tend to avoid interstates and multilane highways so I'm not sure the value I would get out of one

Yes I'm double posting with the Bike forum.

I don't think it's worth it. CB's require quite a bit of attention and also I don't see how you can get a decent antenna on a bike for good range.

300 for a CB is too much, most decent units are around 100 for a car.

If you buy it, you won't find yourself using it very often. You're better off buying something else like the whistler bike RD or another RD and custom mount it if you haven't already.

Those units are good for things like group tours through Mexico where you are communicating with everyone on the ride. Touring bike territory.
