Default Need a new desktop scanner

Well my uniden bearcat210xl finally bit the dust so now i am in the market for another working destop scanner. I only use this scanner for conventional systems like the local fire departments/ems as well as the highway patrol and marine channel 16. So really i am scanning about 10 channels max. Does anyone hear have a dinosuar desktop scanner they want taken off their hands? I am not looking to pay much cause i am saving for a digital scanner as well as a ham radio after i actually take the test

    Spoiler: show

    GPS Camera Locator-Cheetah C100
    GPS Nav-Garmin nuvi w/Trapster

If you're saving you might as well get [probably] the best digital scanner, the BCD996T.

There's no point in getting a conventional one, the BCD99T is so massive it can take care of all your needs.

Look out for bargains on the BCD99T. They are REALLY overpriced at radio shack. You can find some really good prices at some places and save a couple hundred at least.
