What CB channel offers the best trooper warning?

Hi,

I have a CB bradio and I'll be travelling some 1,000 miles all on the i95 (NY to Florida). I'm equipment with a RD and jammer but would like to know what channel I can rely on (somehwhat) in communicating with others?

I heard that channel 9, 13,17, 19 are good, but I don't want to switch channels as I want to concentrate on the driving...so what channel is the most common I could rely on warning of speed traps?

19 - Channel 19 is an "unofficial" trucker's channel.

9 is the official emergency ch. channel

and be careful with the RD while passing through VA

And speeding in general in VA.

When I drove there this summer I took my Radar Detectors down and cruised at 10+ PSL and was still traveling faster than most of the traffic

I was thinking of letting my wife drive when passing thru VA

^^ Good idea. Make sure that she wears a somewhat low cut blouse or somewhat unbuttoned blouse too, and that she deliberately wears a bra with some lace on it. A Victoria's Secret bra would be ideal. That way she just might get off with a warning.

Regarding VA, its best to drive with the general flow of traffic and not to stand out by obviously driving faster than the general flow of traffic -- especially at night.
