I wouldn't be able to understand a word they were saying, even if the radio was working flawlessly!

But yeah, digital sucks. Departments are getting screwed on it everywhere.

I never realised that your avatar pic was the police shield for NZ!

yes digital is ment to be better yes it is in some respects but it's not in others yes you can do more with it yes it is more secure no one can listen in but the police.

but if a police officers accidentally push's the talk button in and it stays in no one on that channel can speak over him so if an emergency call comes in the coms center they can't broadcast that call for help over the network that's a real danger a life or death one. and because it's digital the coverage is ****y in Rural areas or hilly areas or places where there is alot of brick buildings. what do you mean you would beable to know what they were saying the codes are publicly available on the internet. like im going 3T is a Traffic stop. and yep my avatar picture is the nz police Crest i know what you mean.

it's manly because the boy race's down in Christchurch are using the scanners to get away with crime this is why the police are up grading to the digital service they messed it up for everyone i enjoy my scanner

I played it a few times.... He is hinting at something around "There are always problems with a new system". I think he said a few other words in between the seven times he repeated it. It could be my me just mis-interpreting it, but there are always problems with new accents...
